Dunn Set To Tee Off Tonight Against A’s; Milledge Stays With Club In Minors

Good news on both sides of the spectrum.

Adam Dunn will make his Chi-town debut this evening at the Cell against the Oakland Athletics, after missing six games following an appendectomy.

Dunn will bat third for the Good Guys in Black, ahead of clean-up batsman Paul Konerko.

Dunn is hitting .286 in four games for the Chi Sox this season.  He has one banger and five driven in.

He’s Back: Lastings Milledge cleared waivers and has accepted going down to Triple-A Charlotte.

The backup outfielder could have been scooped up by any squad or he could have inked with another ball club after he cleared, but he chose to stick with White Sox organization.

At the time of the decision, Ozzie spoke well on behalf of Milledge for dealing with the move in a professional manner.

Milledge played in two games for the White Sox, going 1-for-4 on the year.
